Nintendo have announced that the development kits for the Nintendo Wii will cost under $2000. In a recent interview Saturo Iwata announced that the development kits were going to be sold for $1,732. This is great news for future Wii owners and third party developers, as it will allow more third parties to develop games for the Wii for a lower price. This will mean that gamers will get a wider range of games from a bigger variety of developers for lower prices due to the cheap development costs.
