CVG are reporting that Konami has developed a version of the hit soccer series, Pro Evolution Soccer that is playable on the Wii, all they need to do now is work out how to implement the WiiMote.

Although Konami haven’t yet officially announced the game for the Wii, the producer of the series Shingo ‘Seabass’ Takatsuka has said that there is a version in development for the Wii. The game is playable on Nintendo’s home console, but they are still playing around with different control methods to play the game.

Seabass also said that EA are likely to be releasing a soccer game for the Wii, that may even involve strapping a controller onto your foot for shooting.
