Virtual Console UK Launch
Published by WiiMan on December 3rd, 2006About a month ago we reported on the titles that would be available for the Virtual Console at launch, but now it seems that those in the UK that have already got Wiis from Nintendo are discovering that it isn’t quite the 31 games promised by Nintendo, in fact all there is are the five games below.
- Donkey Kong (NES)
- Mario Bros. (NES)
- Wario’s Woods (NES)
- Bomberman 93 (TurboGrafx)
- Super Star Soldier (TurboGrafx)
However it is likely that by the end of December we will see all the games on the original list available for download on the Virtual Console.

WTF? No way! Where’s Mario 64, Sonic or Donkey Kong Country? Do you think they’ll have them up by the official UK launch?
Oh, and how did these people get there PAL Wiis early can I ask?

Leaf, I don’t know if the games will be added to the Wii Shop before launch, but I’m pretty sure they’ll be available sometime before the end of the month.
People have managed to get their Wiis in the UK before launch from Nintendo, they’re mostly writers from large sites or magazines, like Cubed3
