With only a few short hours to go until some stores open at midnight for the launch of the Nintendo Wii queues are already growing outside HMV in London where the official launch party will take place.

The store will open at 11pm with the chance for gamers to play Wii Sports with Ian Wright, Nell McAndrew, Pat Cash and Ricky Hatton. There are also going to be 200 Wii consoles available for those that didn’t preorder the Wii.

If you don’t live near/in London then there still might be a midnight launch at a store near you.
