Hmm, Capcom is reportedly pulling games from PS3 for Wii exclusivity. Well, one game so far, but could this turn into a trend? Maybe I’m just hopeful about Resident Evil 5 making it to the Wii.

“Due to high development cost of titles for PS3, we have decided to switch the platform to which we release our Monster Hunster 3 title,” says Capcom managing corporate officer Katsuhiko Ichii .

It’s hard to believe that Sony is finding itself in situations like this after pretty much dominating the market not so long ago. But things just seem to keep looking up for good ol’ Nintendo.

One can’t help but wonder if other game developers will follow a similar path as Capcom and drop PS3 production in favor of the Wii.
