According to Nintendo World Report, Nintendo President Satoru Iwata has announced a cool new feature for the Wii that will allow users to purchase Virtual Console games and then send them to friends over the Internet.
Full details are slim at the moment, but apparently Wii users who receive a game will have the Wii Shop Channel open on their console automatically and begin the download.
No time frame has been given for this feature to begin… but let’s all hope that it’s in time for the Holiday season. Nothing says Happy Holidays like the gift of Castlevania, Tecmo Bowl, or Ninja Gaiden.
