Have you got a few Mii’s that your wanting to show off, but have no place to do it? Well you might be in luck… on November 11th Nintendo is launching a new free channel entitled “Check Mii Out”.
“The Check Mii Out Channel lets people show off their Mii creations and vote on those created by others,” says George Harrison, Nintendo of America’s senior vice president of marketing and corporate communications. “It’s yet another way that we’re building fun, interactive communities of Wii owners without charging them extra for the privilege.”
Users can submit, exchange or just browse through the many Mii’s. “Check Mii Out” will also offer a “search for specific Mii’s” option, to help alleviate some pressure of having to sort through all those caricatures.
The Channel will also feature a contest section challenges users to submit their Mii creations of certain people (Abe Lincoln, Vincent Van Gogh, The Tooth Fairy, Baby New Year). It’ll also feature descriptive theme contests “the biggest bully ever”, or “the overbearing boss”.
Your Wii hooked to the Internet? If so you can download it by utilizing the WiiWare section of the Wii Shop.
Personally I think this Channel will get used by both the young and old… what do you think about it?
