No seriously… a company called Overline Gaming is coming out with a new “Arcade Style Joystick for the Nintendo Wii Virtual Console” and it’s called The Shaft.

The Shaft

According to the WiiShaft.com

Pre-Order Now for Dec 24 Delivery | Get 1 for $39.95 or 2 for $69.95 | Normal Retail Price is $79.95 for 1!

A Customizable Turbo Function allows you to program individual buttons to be Turbo while leaving others to work as normal.

Full 360 Degree range of motion that works with both digital and analog stick games. 8 Locking points for Awesome response in Fighting Games. 10-Year Warranty.

To me this things seems like it would be a blast for playing the old arcade style fighting games, but the price may be a little steep for that… what do you guys think about it?

didn’t the N64 have the same exact add-on joystick? And I know it didn’t cost 79.95. Not even 39.99 if I recall!!! Too much for something totally not needed.

Couldn’t think of a better name?
