Carly Cauthen: Nope, the Wii Zapper uses the “B” button (trigger on the wiimote) to do the shooting… as the game in Wii Play uses the “A” button.

Simple flaw that probably could’ve been overlooked when developing Wii Play… as I’m sure they were in the design stages of the Wii Zapper then.

Having read your post, I went to Target and picked up a Wii Zapper for $24.99 plus tax. If you have your Wiimotes in the protective rubber jackets, it’s actually annoying to take them out and put them into the Wii Zapper, and back again.

But Link’s Crossbow Training is so much fun and well worth the price.
