Does The Wii Attract Roaches?

The Japanese entertainment magazine BARKS has started a “rumor” that a powered-on Wii emits a sound frequency that is in the range to which cockroaches are attracted. WTF?

This is just pure speculation here, but I’m guessing it’s someone living in pure squalor trying to pass the buck on their cleanliness. “It can’t be me with my stack of semi-empty pizza boxes in the corner, sink full of empty beer bottles, and dirty clothes scattered around… it must be some frequency being admitted by the Wii that is drawing in the roaches”.
I’m going to go ahead and cast my vote into the “BS” column… what do you guys think?

sounds like bull to me, my house hasnt had any bug problems at all, and i’ve had my Wii for a while
I’ve Had my wii Since launch and ive had a few spider problems but thats cuz my room is in a basement…
That’s awesome! But I’ll bet it was just made up by some XBOX 360 or PS3 fan.
Sounds cool…I imagine two roaches sitting on sofa with controllers and playing. This is a nice multiplayer feature from Nintendo.
I think thats a really stupid thing. I mean, what could attract roaches on the Wii? I have a Wii for a long long time and there has never been any roaches at all. As already said, I bet it was just made up by some XBOX 360 or PS3 fan.
