It’s Official: Smash Bros. Brawl Delayed
Published by Jeremy on January 15th, 2008Today Nintendo made it official, announcing that the much anticipated title Super Smash Bros. Brawl will be pushed back until March 9th in the States and January 31st for Japan.
As bad as this news is…. shouldn’t really come as much of a surprise as I reported the delayed rumor news last Thursday.
Below is a quote from the the official site for the game…
Due to delays in the completion of Super Smash Bros. Brawl, we’ve had to change the release date of the game to Sunday, March 9th.
I deeply apologize to the people who have looked forward to playing the game for so long and ask that you hold on just a little longer. Thank you for your patience.
For the “select few” of us who pre-ordered this game online from Walmart.com (which they backed out of) this is like puring alcohol in an open wound… just no good news is coming from this title.

Nintendo hates us…the icing on the cake will be when brawl finally does come out, and the net play sucks because it’s not on EA servers….
