Wii Getting Exclusive Star Wars Levels

Be honest, when you first purchased your Nintendo Wii… you couldn’t wait to play a Star Wars based game. It’s almost as if the console was designed especially for twirling around the Wiimote like a light saber.

Krome Studios, developer for the highly anticipated Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, has confirmed that the Wii version of the game will be coming with 5 levels that won’t be available on the Xbox 360 or the PS3 (admit it, on some level this makes you happy).

ComputerandVideoGames.com has a quote from Ed Tucker (Krome Studios developer)

“On the Wii we have places where the story veers off and we go and explore something, take the game in a different direction, like the Jedi Temple level,” says Tucker. “There are five levels that aren’t in the PS3 and 360 versions.”

“What we did was try to look at the concept and idea behind it and get as close as we could. The ragdolls in the Wii version are robust, they look really good.”

With the addition of 5 exclusive levels, this only sweetens the deal for me… I personally cannot wait for this title to drop.

it could have 5 less levels than the ps3 and xbox360 versions as long as it doesn’t completely suck. it will be unforgivable if they mess up the opportunity to use the remote as a light-saber, and this is coming from someone who doesn’t really know or care what a jar-jar is.
