Rumor: Nintendo Beta Testing Mario Kart Wii?
Published by Jeremy on February 6th, 2008It’s been rumored that Nintendo will begin beta testing the highly anticipated Mario Kart Wii title very soon… testing it for around 6 months.

Would you like to get in on the testing? I mean, who wouldn’t? Wii.Kombo.com has some details on this…
it appears that working hours would range from Monday through Friday, 10am to 5pm at Nintendo’s headquarters in Japan. Salary figures would start at ¥900 (around $8.40) with the possibility of a raise, (for doing what, we wonder?). The company would also take care of all travel expenses and health insurance.
I guess beta testing could be seen as both a good and bad thing. On one side, Beta Testing is great… game developers can find the bugs and iron out kinks before it gets release to the public. The other view of the testing process is… beta testing takes time, and can push the release date of a game to the extreme.
Anyone bummed at the thought of a beta testing program lasting for 6 months (which would in turn push the U.S. release date of the game)?
