WiiWare Getting Tetris
Published by Jeremy on March 11th, 2008Recently Hudson has confirmed the initial rumors that Tetris (the classic puzzle game) is coming for WiiWare Channel.
According to CVG…
IGN says the WiiWare version of the puzzle game will include six-player online support, Wii Remote pointer controls and an all-new mode that throws obstacles in the way of players’ blocks.
Tetris is scheduled for a summer release in Japan, with a full release at a later date.

I like it! Sounds a lot like Tetrinet which is great fun. I’m having a hard time imagining how you’d use the pointer for in-game control though…seems like the d-pad would be fine…
