Anyone who installs a modchip on a wii should find something better to do with their time. Seriously, the wii library for the most part isn't worth downloading/collecting...and you risk breaking a console that is
a) annoyingly hard to find
b) immediately resalable for profit

One of the main reasons to mod a console is homebrew/emulator support, which the wii scene doesn't have and doesn't really need. Despite nintendo's anti-piracy efforts, the main deterrent here is that you should be able to afford one game a month...and every month the wii will have one game worth buying, if you can "score" a copy by waiting in line, signing onto a list, and/or generally acting like a silly anime fan.
