Come on Nintendo, we need a hard drive
This was the sentiment that Rob Kay, design director over at Harmonix, shared with CVG. His frustrations stem from future Wii Rock Band owners not being able to download extra songs because of the lack of storage.
CVG has more…
If the platform could do it, we’d jump on it”, he continued. “It’s something that we championed to Nintendo, that we’d like to do it. Who knows what will happen down the line, I don’t know what’s coming down the line, but that’s the reason there’s no DLC in Wii Rock Band
If many more major game studios / developers start demanding an external hard drive… Nintendo will have to listen sooner or later, or risk losing out on some popular games.

SD slot? Whats wrong with that?
The Wii has 2 USB 2.0 slots in the back of the system. Then why doesn’t Harmonix create a USB storage device for Wii gamers? It would be additional profits for the company selling a Rock Band hard drive and it would allow them to overcharge us for additional songs.
no idea dude seems like they should
