Sonic & The Black Knight Trailer!!
Published by Mike W on January 21st, 2009So, our friends over at Wii Blog are quite excited about the latest Sonic game, even after the disaster that was Secret Rings. Looking at the latest trailer I can see why. This isn’t your typical Sonic game, The Black Knight looks to be a full on action/adventure title, complete with sword wielding Sonic! You’ll be sent back to an Arthurian inspired medieval world to battle it out with, well, The Black Knight. The game is developed by Team Sonic Japan and is set for a March 10 release date. Let’s hope this game actually plays as fun as the trailer makes it seem.

It looks good, but I can’t help but be disappointed by many recent Sonic games. I think they have made it too much about speed and not enough about gameplay.
I found the last sonic game I played on my DS was mostly a case of holding down the run button and just waiting til you hit something - not my idea of fun really.
However, give me the original Sonic the Hedgehog anyday
