Wii will get anti-gravity alien killing!

Dead Space looks scary. It also looks hard. So far it has been a highly praised game for the 360 and PS3. A game that pushed the boundaries of graphics and gameplay. I have even heard it called Bioshock in space. The game was one of those that us Wii owners looked at and said, we’ll never get that. Well, we were dead wrong.

EA’s CEO mentioned in an earnings call that Dead Space Wii was on the way. According to IGN it will be an original take on the game with emphasis on the Wii controls. Not only that but, he offered up this gem of amazing news as well, “We’re bringing core intellectual property to the Wii,” Riccitiello said. “Wii is the market leader — they’re getting half of our emphasis in terms of title count.” Yes, half of their emphasis. Hopefully the era of the Wii being a childs plaything is coming to an end.
