WiiSpray–Bombing the Wii!
Published by Mike W on April 7th, 2009About a year ago people were doing all sorts of creative things with the Wiimote. Guys out there had come out with everything from multi-touch whiteboards using the Wiimote and finger-tracking systems. But, one thing shone above the rest, WiiSpray. It was created by Martin Lihs at Germany’s Bauhaus University. It crammed a Wiimote into a spray-paint can shaped holder. He hoped to create a virtual graffiti wall that artists could digitally tag to their hearts desire. Well, it looks like dear old Mr. Lihs has been working on WiiSpray as he’s just released a teaser trailer for what could be the final product, and what a product it’s shaping up to be! In the trailer he’s got the wall setup, the “can” is sponsored by Montana Cans, and there are extensive colors, tips and stencils to choose from. It looks to be super realistic, I’d love to see him get some famous graffiti artists to test this thing out with a proper demo. The end of the trailer teases us with “Coming Soon”. Who knows what this will turn out to be but, it seems as though the possibilities are endless at this point. Enjoy the short trailer below.

Nice, that was sick. Hadn’t seen that before. That’s the type of demo I want to see with WiiSpray.
