I’m going to assume off the bat that you’ve all bought and are currently loving Tiger 10 and Wii Motion Plus. I have to admit, I’ve not yet got it. I went to Target on Tuesday but they didn’t have it in, and I’ve not been back. Kind of lame, right? Anyway, that’s neither here nor there. What is here, or will be in the future, is My Personal Trainer. This “game” features the one and only David Leadbetter, the world’s premiere golfing coach, and he’s here to help you improve your game. MPT utilizes WiiMotion Plus as well as the Balance Board to accurately measure nearly every aspect of your swing. Once they’ve done all that, you’ll get feedback on how to improve and given in-game drills you can use to practice. The game will also feature some courses you can practice on with every club in the bag. Now, this game is obviously targeted to a very specific group of people but, how many dad’s out there bought their kids a Wii, Wii Fit, and now will get Sports Resort? Probably a ton, they already have the equipment since Sports Resort comes with WMP, might as well get yourself a trainer to make the time you spend on the course that much better. Whether or not this game will be a success with other types of gamers will have to be seen. I kind of doubt it though, most would be fine just practicing on Tiger. As for me, I’m gonna plead the fifth when it comes to my skills on the links.
