Although we have been friends for a long time, I didn't want to embarrase myself with my lack of tennis technique. So I decided to get myself a bit of help before our first session. I "kinda" dissapear of the radar for a couple of weeks. The reason, I was training with an amazing series of oline videos on how to learn to play tennis.

To my amazement and his, my first class with him wasn't bad at all. He immediately noticed that I had had "some help" so he asked what I did. I mentioned the videos, he took a peek and was quite impressed.

I am far from perfection, but I have been doing quite well.

I've not played Virtua Tennis but GST is amazing. The play is brilliant, and you can't argue with a game that gives you McEnroe and Wimbledon.

Mark, thanks for the heads up on the spelling!

At the top you spelled Federer wrong, it's Federer to Feder.

Thanks for this though!

I have both and Grand Slam Tennis is without doubt the better experience. Virtua Tennis is great, but I just can't seem to put GST down while VT sits in the box doing nothing. The motion control is a little over sensitive in both titles at times, but once you're used to it, it takes Wii gaming to another level entirely.

I think EA's Grand Slam Tennis appeals to me more. Check out the screenshots and videos on the official website - http://tennis.easports.com/media.action - looks pretty sweet!
