Walk It Out!?!

This may be the most ridiculous post I’ve done here, and I apologize.

For every high-caliber title like The Conduit, it seems like developers and publishing houses put out 3 or 4 horrible games. Unfortunately, it seems like this epidemic hits the Wii especially hard. I guess the terms “casual gamer” and “everyone’s game” mean “catatonic gamer” and “everyone’s game they got from their great aunt and really wish they could return only she didn’t include a gift receipt and insisted on me letting her kids play the game so I was forced to open it.” Every developer and publisher is prone to the pandemic that’s swept the console world. Konami seems to be one that likes to promise us great games like the Pro Evo series and Silent Hill:Shattered Memories, while at the same time pumping out American Idol The Game, and their latest gem, Walk It Out. I’m not even sure I can fully process the absurdity of this game. Luckily the trailer includes a woman who I’m pretty sure I’d want to shoot in the face if I was forced to play this game and she was actually in it longer than 2 minutes. Maybe this game is some sort of torture device, perhaps W. is involved… My best bet is that someone at Konami thought the Wii was a console that was all about fitness and you could get fit by going on walks. In your living room. While your really just walking in place and looking like an idiot.

I don’t want to hate on Konami too much, especially since I love PES and am uber-excited for Silent Hill:SM, but they should just scratch this game right now. I know they won’t though. In a few months I’ll see this at Target on that back shelf where they stick the games no one wants to buy cuddled up with the Vin Diesel game Wheelman. For those of you who stuck it out with me for this post, I know you’re just dying to see this game that got me so fired up. Well, it’ll be just below. I know you won’t enjoy it and I don’t blame you. What you may enjoy is the video that I’m gonna post below it, if you enjoy a catchy but bad rap song that is ingeniously played over a video of 3 weird old white ladies in the 70’s. I hope you don’t hate me in the morning.

    Hey Mike–

Just curious how I’d send over some info to you on a Wii title dropping this fall. I clicked the contact page but it seems to be broken. Get back to me when you get a chance.

    Thanks
    Graham
