Rock n Roll is really a old fashioned guitar playing and guitar solos. Your right though, it’s getting kind of old, don’t think I’ll be buying more.

There are a lot of instrumental hip-hop songs and albums.DJ Shadow, who is predominantly featured in DJ Hero, is actually in Guinness for having the first (and I believe only) album that is comprised of 100% sampled music, and it’s all instrumental, Preemptive Strike. A lot of the more underground artists and producers will produce or release instrumental tracks/albums/versions of their songs. Hip-hop needs good music just as much as it needs good lyrics, same as rock does.

I don’t think that hip hop is based so much on the guitar playing as it is on the lyrics, there for what you may be looking for is a Lyrics Hero game. Rock n Roll is based good old fashioned guitar playing and guitar solos. When is the last time you heard a Hip Hop song that is an instrumental? I own GH 3, GHWT, GH Metallica, GH Aerosmith, and GH 5. Your right though, it’s getting kind of old, don’t think I’ll be buying any more.
