Mickey vs. The Time Lapse…

I hope you all remember last week when I first talked about Epic Mickey, because I’m here to talk about it again. Well, not so much talk about it as show off a bit of artwork from the game and an amazing time lapse video of said artwork. I remember I used to love the film Fantasia, and I think it was because it was a bit creepy. I don’t know, just something about it always made me feel uneasy, but I liked it. It was nice seeing Mickey in a darker environment, which is what is making Epic Mickey so tantalizing. Granted, we know next to nothing about the game, and for all we know it could be Mickey in Candyland. I seriously doubt it though. I’m hoping for something more along the lines of a darker Kingdom Hearts. Warren Spector has the pedigree to make this game amazing, let’s just hope he delivers. As for delivering, here’s that artwork I was talking about earlier…

You know what, I’m feeling generous today so I’m going to set it off with the latest trailer from Nerf: N-Strike Elite. I got a chance to play this game a month or so ago and was seriously impressed. I’m not saying that this game is going to blow any minds or anything, but it wasn’t horrible. It’s kind of like Matthew McConaughey. You see a trailer for his movie and are like, “Ugh, Mateo is at it again. I’m not gonna enjoy this.” Then you get Ghosts of Girlfriends Past from Netflix and realize it’s not as bad as you though. Especially if it’s a rainy Monday afternoon. I’m guessing N-Strike will be perfect for those sorts of days. You can judge for yourself this month as Nerf will put blaster in hand this month. Fun fact for you guys, I just read on the EA Press Kit that the original Nerf game was EA’s second best selling Wii game in 2008. I don’t know whether to be impressed or sad about that. Maybe if the guys at Sport didn’t drop the ball with FIFA… Whatever, check the trailer below. Enjoy, and stay thirsty my friends.
